Well, an Uzbek friend of mine had an Afghani friend and he said that these people are very funny and independent, so my advice is to go for it. Afghanistan is slowly rebuilding and trying to put its past behind it; this friend of mine also told me that there were a few tourists venturing the country recently. It may not be the safest place in the world but it's much safer than Iraq! So, why not give it a shot?
